Pattern Instructions:

Foundation Round:

  • Start with a slip knot.
  • Work chain 4.
  • Insert the hook into the first chain and work a slip stitch to form a ring.

Round 1:

  • Work chain 3 (counts as the first double crochet).
  • Work 2 more double crochets into the ring.
  • Work chain 3.
  • Work 3 double crochets into the ring.
  • Work chain 3 again.
  • Work 3 more double crochets into the ring.
  • Work chain 3.
  • Find the third chain from the first chain 3 and work a slip stitch into it.

Color Change (optional):

  • Work chain 1.
  • Cut off the yarn and pull through to secure.
  • Hide the yarn end by weaving it in with a needle.

Round 2:

Attach a new color with a slip knot if changing colors.

  • Insert your hook into any chain 3 space and work a slip stitch.
  • Chain 3 (counts as the first double crochet).
