Gear Shift Hoodie Pattern:
Arms (Make 2):
- Begin with a slip knot, chain 8.
- Connect to the beginning of your chain to form a circle.
- Round 1: Make a single crochet in each chain around for a total of 8 single crochets. Do not join at the end of the round; work in a continuous spiral.
- Repeat Round 1 for a total of 20 rounds (or until the tube is about the length of 20 rows), creating a long tube. This forms one arm. Repeat the process for the second arm.
Pocket:
- Start with a slip knot, then chain 4.
- Row 1: Skip the first chain (turning chain), make 2 single crochets in the next chain (increase made), then 1 single crochet in each of the next 2 chains. You will have 4 single crochets.
- Increase at the start of each row to create a small trapezoid until you have rows with 6, 7, and finally 8 single crochets. Cut the yarn, leaving a tail.
