Instructions:

Motif (Make 8 with A, 5 with B)

  1. Ch 2. 1st rnd: 4 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Join with sl st to first sc. (4 sc)
  2. 2nd rnd: Ch 1. 3 sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc. (12 sc)
  3. 3rd rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in same sp as last slst. *Ch 3. Skip next sc. 1 sc in each of next 3 sc. Rep from * twice more. Ch 3. Skip next sc. 1 sc in last sc. Join with sl st to first sc.
  4. 4th rnd: Ch 1. [1 sc in each sc to next corner ch-3 sp. (1 sc. Ch 3. 1 sc) all in corner ch-3 sp] 4 times. 1 sc in each sc to end of rnd. Join with sl st to first sc.
  5. 5th to 16th rnds: Rep 4th rnd 12 times more. Fasten off.

Straps (Make 2)

  1. With B, ch 85. 1st row: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch to end of chain. Turn. (84 sc)
  2. 2nd to 4th rows: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc to end of row. Turn. Fasten off.

Joining Motifs:
