Materials:
- Yarn: You will need fingering weight yarn in various colors. The YouTuber used a Rubin yarn, which is 100% acrylic. You will need at least five colors.
- Crochet hook: Size 3 mm
- Darning needle
- Scissors

Abbreviations:
- ch: chain
- hdc: half double crochet
- dc: double crochet
- sl st: slip stitch
Pattern:
Granny Square:
Round 1:
- Make a magic ring.
- ch 3 (counts as 1 dc), dc in the ring.
- ch 1, dc in the ring. Repeat 6 more times for a total of 8 dc.
- Pull on the tail of the magic ring to close it up.
- ch 1, sl st in the 4th ch from the beginning of the round.
Round 2:
- Attach the yarn in the ch-1 space after the tail of the previous round.
- ch 3 (counts as 1 dc), 2 dc in the same space.
- ch 1, 2 dc in the next ch-1 space. Repeat around.
- ch 1, sl st in the first ch-3 of the round.
- Cut the yarn, leaving a tail.
For Round 3:
- Attach the yarn in the ch-1 space before the tail of the previous round.
- ch 3 (counts as 1 dc), 3 dc in the same space.
- ch 1, 3 dc in the next ch-1 space.
- ch 1, skip the next 2 dc, 3 dc in the next ch-1 space. Repeat around.
- ch 1, sl st in the first ch-3 of the round.
- Cut the yarn, leaving a tail.
Round 4-8:
Repeat round 3 for the desired size of the granny square.
Joining Granny Squares:
- Once you have made the desired number of granny squares, join them together by crocheting a single crochet in the corner of one square and then in the corner of the next square. Repeat until all squares are joined.
