  • Yarn needle

Pattern:

Starting the Center:

  • Create a Slip Knot and chain 4.
  • Join with a Slip Stitch to form a circle.
  • Chain 3 (this counts as your first double crochet).
  • Make 15 Double Crochets into the center of the ring. (Total of 16 double crochets including the initial chain 3).

Increasing:

  • Slip Stitch to the top of the chain 3 (You should have 32 double crochets).

Forming an alternating pattern:

  • Chain 3, then double crochet in the same stitch (counts as 2 double crochets in one stitch).
  • Single Double Crochet in the next stitch.
  • Two Double Crochets in the next stitch.
  • Continue this pattern (2-1-2-1) around.
