Instructions:

Foundation Chain:

Start with Color A:

  • Using two strands of yarn throughout, pull one strand from the outside and one from the inside of the skein.

Create the Foundation Chain:

  • Chain 60.

Row 1:

Begin the Pattern:

  • In the fourth chain from the hook, make a single crochet.

Continue the Pattern:

  • Chain one, skip a chain, and make another single crochet in the next chain.

Repeat:

  • Continue the sequence (chain one, skip a chain, single crochet in the next) across your chain.

Finish the Row:

  • Once two stitches are left, chain one and make a single crochet in the last chain.

Turn Your Work:

  • To begin the next row.

Row 2 and Beyond:

Start:

  • Chain two (this counts as your first chain space).

First Single Crochet:

  • Make a single crochet in the first chain space available.

Continue the Pattern:

  • Chain one, single crochet into the next chain space between the previous row’s single crochets.

Repeat:

  • Continue chaining one and single crocheting into each chain space to the end of the row.

Last Stitch:

Color Transition:

After Completing 12 inches with Color A:
