Pattern Instructions:

Starting the Scarf:

• Choose your starting colorand create a slip knot.
• Chain stitches to the desired length of the scarf, ensuring the total count is divisible by 3. For this pattern, a chain of 195 is used.

First row:

• Starting from the fourth chain from the hook, perform a half double crochet. Complete three half double crochets in total.
• Chain 3, skip the next three chains, then in the fourth chain, perform three half double crochets again.
• Continue the pattern (chain 3, skip 3 chains, 3 half double crochets) till the end of the row.

Continuing the Scarf:

• At the end of the row, change colors. Cast off the current color by chaining one, cutting the yarn leaving a tail, and pulling the yarn through the loop.
• Start the new row with the new color by attaching it to the first stitch of the previous row. Chain five (this counts as a chain of 3 plus a chain of 2 to reach the height of half double crochets).

Repeat the established pattern:

• 3 half double crochets in the space created by the previous row’s chain-3 space, chain 3, skip the next three half double crochets, and continue.
