Steps:
Round 1:
Chain 3, then work 9 double crochets into the third chain from the hook. Join with a slip stitch to the top of the beginning chain.
Round 2:
- Chain 2, then work 2 front post double crochets around each stitch. Join with a slip stitch to the top of the beginning chain.
Round 3:
- Chain 2, then work 1 front post double crochet around the first stitch, followed by 2 front post double crochets around the next stitch. Repeat around. Join with a slip stitch to the top of the beginning chain.
Repeat rounds 4-7:
- Continue working in the round with front post double crochets, increasing the number of stitches in each round according to the pattern.
Heel:
Switch to Color B and work increases for the heel section according to the pattern.
Leg:
Continue working in the round with front post double crochets, decreasing the number of stitches in each round to shape the leg.
Toe:
- Work decreases in the round to close off the toe.
Add details:
Attach Color C for the ears, eyes, and nose. Weave in any loose ends.
