Materials Needed:

  • DK yarn in gray, black, and a tiny bit of white
  • 3.5 mm crochet hook
  • Scissors
  • Stitch marker
  • Darning needle
  • 12 mm safety eyes
  • Some fiber fill

Head:

  • Start with gray yarn.
  • Work a slip knot and chain 2.
  • Work 8 SC in first chain.
  • Continue to work in a spiral for the following rounds:

Round 2:

  • Work 2 SC into each stitch from the previous round (16 SC).

Round 3:

  • SC in next stitch, increase repeat around (24 SC).

In Round 4:

  • (SC in next 3 stitches, increase) repeat around (30 SC).

Round 5:

  • (SC in next 2 stitches, increase) repeat around (36 SC).

Round 6:

Decrease pattern:

  • Round 1:

For Round 2:

  • SC in each stitch around (40 SC).

Rounds 3 and 4:

  • Repeat Round 1 and 2 (32 SC).
  • Stuff the body with fiber fill before closing.
  • Continue with the pattern of SC and decreases until the body is closed.

Wings:

  • Work a magic ring with gray yarn.
  • Chain 3 (counts as first DC) and work 15 DC into the ring. Slip stitch into the third chain (16 DC including chain 3).

Ears:
