Pattern Instructions:
Start with a magic ring.
- Into the magic ring, chain 1 and make six single crochet (6 sc).
- For round two, do single crochet increase in each stitch to have a total of 12 single crochets (12 sc).
Round three, single crochet increase in the first stitch, then one single crochet in the next; repeat this pattern around to have 18 single crochets (18 sc).
Rounds four and five, crochet two rows of 18 single crochet for a total of 36 stitches.
- Round six, single crochet increase in the first stitch, then one single crochet in the next two stitches; repeat this pattern around for a total of 24 single crochets (24 sc).
- Rounds seven through twelve, maintain the 24 single crochet pattern in each round to accumulate 144 stitches in total.
Next, single crochet decrease and one single crochet in the next two stitches for a total of 18 sc.’

- Chain seven for the mouth and then single crochet across six more times.

Make the eyes:
