  • Stitch marker or clip (optional)
  • Pair of 6 mm safety eyes (Alternatively, you can embroider the eyes)
  • Stuffing material (similar to what’s used for pillows)

Pattern:

Body:

Start with Green Yarn:

  • Make a magic ring with 6 single crochets (sc) in it.
  • Round 2: 2 sc in each stitch around (12 sc total).
  • Round 3: [1 sc, 1 increase (inc)] repeat around (18 sc total).
  • Round 4: [2 sc, 1 inc] repeat around (24 sc total).
  • Round 5: 1 sc in each stitch around (24 sc total).
  • Round 6: 1 sc in each of the next 8 stitches. Change to red yarn before completing the last sc.

Switch to Red Yarn:

  • With red yarn, 1 sc in each of the next 8 stitches. Change to green yarn before completing the last sc.

Switch Back to Green Yarn:

  • Continue in green for the next 8 stitches. Cut the red yarn after hiding it.

Creating a Pattern:
