Crochet Lanyard Pattern

Materials Needed:

• 3.5 mm crochet hook
• Yarn (100% acrylic, Himalaya anti-peeling recommended)
• Scissors
• Darning needle
• Carabiner clips

Pattern:

Starting Row:

• Make a slip knot.
• Chain 6 (ch 6).
• Insert your hook into the second chain from the hook, pull up a loop. Continue in each chain across. You should have 6 loops on your hook.
• For the back row, yarn over (yo) and pull through one loop, *yo and pull through two loops; repeat from * across until one loop remains.

Pattern Repeat:

• Chain 1 (ch 1). This is to get you to the height of the puff stitches for the next row.

Puff Stitch Formation:

• Yarn over, insert the hook between the third and fourth stitch from the previous row, yo and pull up a loop. Repeat this three more times to have a total of four yos. You will skip the next stitch and insert your hook into the fifth one from the previous row, yo and pull up a loop, ch 1.

Border Stitch:
